Three times a day, seven days a week. On average, consumers today spend half the amount of time on cooking compared to their parents. While also claiming that good food plays a huge role in their lives. The project aims to enhance the cooking experience by creating a kitchen that aligns with user flexibility and maintains ease of use. In the process a interior design concept was developed that connects distinct zones for a enhanced integration of daily life in a small space apartment.
Craft
The kitchen's highlight is the Corian countertop, a natural material chosen for its thermal deformability and the seamless bonding technique that gives it a cohesive, integrated appearance.
Design Challenge
One of the major challenges encountered was addressing the constraint of limited space. Every appliance had to be accommodated in the smallest possible area, seamlessly balancing storage space for spices and various small kitchen accessories. Overcoming this spatial dilemma was a crucial aspect of the design process.
